What I love the most though, and what I think separates this from all the others is how it manages to create and tell a story just from one single camera shot. There are no cuts or edits other than a fade in and fade out. It starts of as a close up of the policeman having a panic attack and freaking out, however at this point your unaware that he is police and it keeps you in the dark as to where he is and whats gone on. Then gradually, over the next 90 seconds as the camera zooms out, the setting and situation is revealed to you piece by piece. First you see the 'Polizia' title on his vest, then as it comes further and further out you see he is on the ground sat by himself. Then as his hearing comes back and he snaps back into reality some more, you hear the chaos of whats happening around him and your able to establish the fact he's in the middle of some sort of rioting or civil war. Then finally when the shot gets to its furthest point out in the movie, your able to see everything around him. You can see he's hidden round a corner and although he's having a break from the fighting himself, from the background your able to tell its all still kicking off just from round the corner where he's sat.... and then the film ends and your imagination is able to fill in everything the came before and comes after.
